Jessica Tucker
Jessica Tucker is a PhD student contributor to Physics World. She completed her undergraduate studies and Master's degree in physics at Eastern Michigan University. She is now pursuing her PhD at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. Her research involves the optimal control of superconducting multi-level qubit (qudit) hardware. Jessica is broadly interested in quantum biology and the application of quantum technology in various fields such as medicine, artificial intelligence and materials science. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to Detroit techno, drum and bass, learning Thai, and being a good friend who wears cool-looking T-shirts.
